Cause people are fukking stupid.

Muthafukkas rushing out to buy a system that buggy as fukk and lack quality games.

If those same people just showed some patience they could cop the same system and more games for less money.

nintendo dont release buggy systems breh.

but i agree on holding out for the price drop and the game library to grow. i might give it a few months, but i know im gonna cop it at some point.

Already pre-ordered it. Will definitely be getting the next Xbox too. If Sony comes correct after launch, I'll buy it too.

I know a lot of you have to justify buying one system, but I don't have to worry that much about finances like that. I saved and invested my money well.

Also, I had a lot of fun with the Wii, not only with family members but there were some dope games in there.

yeah i agree with this. i had a lot of fun with the wii, i mean there was alot of shovelware but if you follow the reviews that shyt is easy to skip. there was enough piff for me to completely avoid the weak shyt.

wii-u is definitely a cop for me im just gonna hold off a few months for some game reviews and hopefully a price drop at some point. some of these launch titles is looking dope though, seems like a good launch line up to me, although im not really hyped about nsmb, i personally enjoy it more on 3ds than wii. got some titles coming later im looking forward to, zelda sounds cool but its far away, also heard the xenoblade chronicles team is working on something so i know thats gonna be good.

i always buy at least two systems. im not gonna get both the 720 and the ps4 though, im gonna wait and see who bringing the goods and cop it then. but i wont be getting either of those on launch either

Some GameCube systems had faulty lenses and couldn't read discs.

The very first firmware update Nintendo released killed some peoples systems.

So yes, even Nintendo has released buggy systems in the past.

:upsetfavre: dude must not remember having to swap cartridges with alcohol and blowing dust out just to get the OG Nintendo to work.

I didn't even mention that because that shyt has LONG been documented. Nintendo gave U.S. customers and flawed system design and people just found ways to work around it. Everybody had they own little trick to get the games to work. :jawalrus:

yeah that shyt happened after years of playing, and it was dust collection on the cartriges, it wasn't a complete system crash. its completely different to todays systems just dying on folks.the difference is, you could still make it work. i can still play my NES to this day.

I'll cop once there's 5 or so games I gotta have, probably around the 1st price drop. Right now the only games really calling me is the Wonderful 101, Zombie U, Pikmin 3, and NSMB U. W101 is the only that got me like :krs: though, the rest ain't really gettin me jimmies ruffled.

Once Zelda, a 3D Mario, and Mario Kart come out though, it's a wrap b

I think they made a limited number available for preorders to hype it up... then on release day you gon see stores filled with them :scusthov:

Just like they did with the Wii, right :mjpls:

fukk blowing dust. It was all about putting the cartridge in and making sure the game went in at the correct angle. You had to feel the back of the game scrape the inside of the console the correct way to know it was going to work.

The bullshyt you talkin about isn't enough to say nintendo had faulty systems :stopitslime:
Because what your talking about wasn't widespread. This is actually the first I've ever heard of it
:upsetfavre: dude must not remember having to swap cartridges with alcohol and blowing dust out just to get the OG Nintendo to work.
That was after years of use bruh, no new systems acted like that :birdman:
Wii wasnt $350 :stopitslime:
Well... A system plus a 2nd controller plus tax would run you $330
I remember this because I posted all this info on sohh when I bought my wii
Yet people still said Nintendo was creating fake hardware shortage to shoot demand up.

That was true on some systems, but not all. My best friend back in those days had the system that needed the angle shyt to work
My system was strictly gettin dome :bryan:
The angle shyt wouldn't even work on my system...

So because YOU never heard of it or had an issue it don't count? :childplease:

Any sort of high end technology that has a wide release, some of them are going to have bugs and other issues. No company is exempt from that.

And for the record I never said it was a wide spread problem, but it was a problem nonetheless. That's the risk you take an an early adopter of ANY technology.

If you bought a PlayStation 2 right now...

fukk all that i want the shyt day 1. i'm a gamer and i ain't rich or nothing but money really isn't an issue for me. saving a hundred bucks and having to wait a few years to do it ain't shyt to me.

i mean honestly in say 2 years maybe the damn thing is $100 cheaper. unless you're really strapped for cash $100 ain't shyt. most people make well over that for one day's work at their jobs.

on a side note the fukkery has begun

$750 and somehow it got through eBay's grasp.

Bruh, they sold like 50million systems. Of course you gonna have a few problems.
But your speaking as if the problem your talkng about happened to a lot of people. It didn't
To the point this is the first I've ever heard about that happening.
Now why would I know about stuff like this? Cuz I'm hardcore into this shyt
You new to this section, Hi, I'm know it all. I learn useless info like this and retain it only because I love videogames and been a gamer for 30yrs now

If nintendo's had the issue you are talking about, it would be known information.
Now that you have introduced this info, let me do a quick google check and see what comes up...
Ok, on the firmware update. Not sure how you could do that w/out online :snoop:
I guess you mean they had it on disc already? Is that what your really gonna try to fly with? You just don't know wtf your talking about
I can see that, cuz I'm an expert n shyt :hula:

As for faulty lenses? Yup, nothing came up on that either.
When people talk about stuff on the internet, you can find out via google
Ain't nobody talkin about what you lyin about bruh. Did it happen to you?
Sure it did. But that doesn't mean it was an issue to the point you SHOULDN'T buy a nintendo product at launch, which is what was the topic
You tried to make it seem like nintendo products have issues at launch and they don't.
A wii made this year could have the exact same issue you talkin about. Google proved you was wrong, now its time for you to work on acceptance...
