You see this is what's wrong with this site right now. Nobody gives a shyt about Dreams, if you do make a thread about it yourself and try to convince posters to dap you and agree with your post. Dream broke how many artists? How many songs? Who were the legendary performers who came out of there? Answer. Zero.Dream in DC >>>> The Tunnel
Dream had Badder chicks.... met a bunch of chicks from NY, Boston, Rhode Island, and Connecticut who would drive to DC to come to Dream...
i don't think any person can honestly say they remember him
unless them having some sorta personal experience - like him throwing u out or breaking up a fight
but i do remember the bouncers/security out front wearing them fluorescent yellow wind breakers

Blackplanet. All these Facebook related bios always say Myspace was the precursor even tho Blackplanet was the profile website that took us into the new Millennium. They dont acknowledge because of the name. Whats crazy is i have no choice but to acknowledge Blackplanet because it was 2 whiteboys from the military who weren't wiggers who put me onto Blackplanet in 1999.
I used to go when my boy Andre promoted, he used to be ahead of his time by dressing in suits , well the Tunnel was grimy as hell and I remember we had to eyes in the back our heads because Peter G paid his promoters half cash and half check. Many a night had to have Beast the security walk us to the corner. My boy Joe got sold bad weed by these Haitian dudes I knew . Needless to say they got dealt with the next week. You could bring in box cutters , guns if you promoted or were friends with the door staff.
Jessica R was more gangster than any rapper or street hood that ever walked in there and there is nobody who can tell me differently. If you had any interaction with her, you had to a have a recording to make sure she didn't change her story.
Dude who started Blackplanet previously founded an NYC-centric sort of "AOL" called New York Online. I saw an ad for it in Stress magazine back in the day so I tried it for a couple monthsBP really was the shyt back in the days but don't forget Migente and AsianAvenue.
YepA white woman?!?
