Get something small. Ninja 250 or 500. Great online forums for noobies too for those bikes. You’re going to drop your first bike so get something cheap and low powered. Ninja 250s and 500s have great resale so you’ll probably get your money back. Put 5-10K on your noob bike then upgrade to what you really want.

Like someone told me, if you start out on a powerful bike you won’t learn to ride you’ll learn how to survive.
Drop your bike like fall off? :patrice:

Anybody have experience buying a motorcycle during winter months where it gets cold? I hear it's the best time to buy.

Ok cool , since it’s your first bike and you’re gonna upgrade from it try to get as much time on it as possible.. it’s looks like a easy going bike so just get your confidence up so when you upgrade you don’t think you’ll hurt yourself.. did you have something picked out when you get another bike?

I’ve only bought mine in may and June but that’s peak season for the seller cuz everyone wants to ride.. you should be able to get some deals during the winter

Go Indian. They're a real good brand. Harley is trying to do better, but like a poster said, they're on the expensive side.

Indian makes great cruisers at cheap prices. The Indian Chief would be a good start, move up to other models if you need more.
