Any Hitchcock fans?

Watched Rear Window a few months back, surprisingly badly dated and not as sharp as I remembered

Frenzy is my favorite, most underrated and graphic, uncomfortable, tense watch.

What kind of show is this? What would you compare it to?

Hitchcock Presents is an anthology series, sort of Tales From the Crypt, Twilight Zone, Masterpiece Theater. It's horror, mystery (murder) and suspense, without the sci-fi angle, but plenty with slasher psyche angle.

The half-hour episodes are the ones that stay in syndication. I don't remember the last time I saw one from the "Hitchcock Hour" era.

What kind of show is this? What would you compare it to?

To something modern? I'm not sure. It's an anthology show with different stories each episode. Usually there's crime involved or some sort of mystery or creepy subject matter. If you know of The Twilight Zone it's like that, but without the science fiction.
