Family Plot is decent btw, not one of his classics but fun if you like his style. It takes a while to get going but still has some great suspenseful scenes.

I don’t care for that movie either and I understand why people wouldn’t like it. But you’re comparing 1 movie to a catalog of one of the most well known directors whose bread and butter was suspense.

I like all the Hitchcock films I've seen. Always interesting to see how subversive they were given the time, censors etc. Especially in this movie given some of the implied violence and...not from Harlem moments.

Last week in class the teacher showed us North by Northwest, about the first 40 mins or so. First Hitchcock film I ever seen and enjoyed it thoroughly.

A while back I saw Lifeboat, good film. Hitchcock films are timeless in many ways.

I urge all fans of Hitchcock's films to watch Alfred Hitchcock Presents if you haven't already. He didn't direct every episode but the suspense and tension are done in a similar style to his work and there's a bunch of good stories in there.

What kind of show is this? What would you compare it to?
