Glad to see this thread. Right now I just buy whole food powders and mix those with a blender bottle.

There's tons of green powders like that available, any health store will give you many options. They usually taste pretty bad on their own (one I linked is the best tasting that I've found) but if you mix 1/2 filtered water + 1/2 any juice combination they are much easier to get down

I like this method and it's easy to do any time. that said, I want to expand my program considerably and make my own "custom" mixed smoothies and green drinks with an actual blender or juicer.

There's a Magic Bullet that is specifically for making green smoothies. For you cats that think a Vitamix or a Blendtec is too expensive, you should check it out, it's called Nutribullet, and I think they cost like $99 at Target. I'm gonna pick one up for my mother, as she's gotten intrigued by green smoothies, thanks to that Montel Williams infomercial.

Funny thing, though, most people who watch that Montel infomercial wind up buying a blender other than that Healthmaster or whatever he calls it. My sister bought it, and now she's :to: because it doesn't work.

Try the link again, I'm new to The Coli so I may have embedded it wrong

If it's still not working google "garden greens essential greens" or ""miracle greens" (2 brands that I like). The first few links are usually Amazon, skip those & look for a Vitamin retailer they will have the best prices & product info

I've been trying celery in my smoothies, and I'm not a fan; too strong. Gonna go back to lettuce, spinach and kale.

yeah only two veggies i can't do juiced are celery and tomatoes. over powers all the other veggies imo. every thing else i'm good to go.

In my most humble opinion, go with a blender, not a juicer. You lose the fiber when you juice. Vitamix or Blendtec is the best blender for smoothies, although I have seen people say some good things about the Ninja blender, which is considerably cheaper.
