The filipinos i grew up in queens played ball all the time. Crazy athletic and most can jump out the gym, but no fundamentals to make it to any legit tourney or HS.

Im not phillipino but the reason baskebtall is popular in poorer countries is the same as soccer. All u need is a ball and a hoop. No complicated equipment, bats, sticks or any of that other shyt. Get a ball and play
