famous was my parents fave, i never liked it since a kid lol. I always wanted Zuppardi’s, best pizza in the world if you ask me.

We’re from new haven so it never made sense why we’d take that 40 min drive when we had like 6 worldfamous spots in the area lol.

by the time i was like 20 most of my homies had dipped CT for more or less the same reasons (too expensive and nothing much going on scene-wise, for the cost of living).

CT wants u to pay like $1200-1500 for a nice spot, for me to have nothing fun to do social wise? Pass. I’d rather pay that in a poppin city and be in the vibes.


Also another gripe i have with CT is it seems so hard to mingle and meet ppl casually compared to so many other places. I feel everyone just hangs with their elementary school friends for life, that could just be my experience tho lol.

Ive been back in town for the week to vote since im still a resident officially. God this place is boring as hell, and depresses me all over again.


Coming from new york, there aint NOTHING to do here. Dont even have good cities to go walking and sight see a crowd.

anyone reading this: never move to CT unless ur a boring slow life person.

Where all my CT brehs at?
Currently a NY nikka looking to buy my first house in CT.
What's some good predominantly or majority black neighborhoods? Google search ain't really showing me shyt so I rather hear from brehs with experience.

Predominantly black
Low crime
Family neighborhoods

Any suggestions?

Greenwich looks nice but expensive. Stamford looks nice also. I don’t hear much of black middle clssses in CT and all the major cities are crime ridden (Hartford, Néw Haven, Bridgeport)

If I had to choose near NY and black middle class Id go with NJ.

it’s ok to be bored on the east coast when big cities are never far out of reach. Living in CT you can commute to NYC if you live in Née Haven or South of it. If you live north of it you have Boston, and NYC and all those major CT cities.


It would be much worse if you lived in a place like Iowa

There is nothing to do IN Connecticut unless you like going to the casinos. I like that they have concerts and shows and shyt but I'm not huge on gambling. Otherwise the night life in the city is ehhh and the taxes are pretty absurd.

Most of CT is actually farmland people don't seem to realize that part of it. The best thing about CT is the quick drive to NYC without having to pay NYC prices

Tolls are coming sooner than later but for truck drivers first i guess. the tolls in NYC are ridiculous lol.

Someone asked about the women. The women are actually underrated in CT. black women are fine, Puerto Rican and Dominican women are fine, even some of the white women are fine if they 22-25, but after that they age like milk, the women in the suburbs tho forget it... mostly white and ugh. nope.

I been to hartford last year. Weird to ses such a major looking city be so empty its weird. It looked like a cool place if people were actually there but it was like a ghost town
