I don't think people really grasp it man. There is not another profession where salary alone in 10 years you are going to be a millionaire.
Now that shouldn't be why you want to practice medicine but that is a damn good incentive. Biochemistry though
..Lol the good thing about medical school today is you don't need the mandatory 3.5. 30+ on your MCAT for acceptance. Why it's recommended you strive for that it won't kill you.
Any major works for medical school as long as you do those pre-reqs. My suggestion has always been do an undergrad in Psychology or Nutrition if you are passionate about helping people.
If all else fails as far as medical school you can couple that psychology degree with a teaching licensure or that nutrition degree and become a registered dietician. And of course get a masters or phd in psychology. There's just a lot more variables and flexibility which I suggest when pursuing medicine.
RN is good and there are some accredited online nursing degrees given by traditional brick and mortar schools. For the most part every state has a college that offers it online with the labs and clinical exercises on-site i.e. at a hospital or partnered with the local community college. Nursing has gotten extremely flexible.
