Nope :blessed:.

A buddy of mine does though. Has it really bad on the back of his neck as well. Not really sure what it is. He's had it over a decade

I've tried every razor possible but I'll try a Mach 3 if it worked out for you

It's all in the technique. I actually have to shave upwards on my neck. Downwards and I look like the back of a nestle crunch bar. Small strokes like 2-3 millimeters each stroke, don't press or pull the skin, and don't go over the same area 10 times. Good shaving gel, put aftershave and aloe vera on after you're done. I eliminated 95% of my shaving issues. I still have some scarring from how bad my burns and bumps were for years, but it's starting to clear up. It's quicker than clippers too.

Try a small patch and see how your skin reacts before you do your whole beard or neck.

Damn, this is the last thing I wanted to hear. You tellin me I can't go Morris Chestnut on these hoes?

If you been dealing for it for 15 years, likely not. I was just talking to my partner about this thread and he was saying he don’t get bumps at all and realized he could shave with anything when he got locked up, cause he shaved with the jail razor and didn’t get no bumps. Some people skin just sensitive and some not.

Use a hot towel on face, neck and head
Invest in a face cleanser
I use Anthony’s kind water cleanser to get rid of impurities
Then put a pre shave on your face, head, neck
Let that set for 5 minutes
Invest in a REAL shaving creme
Jack Black Supreme Creme is what I use
Invest in an aftershave with NO ALCOHOL
Something with tree tea oil
I use Bevel/Lumin aftershave
Use a facial serum
I use a cbd serum from jack black as well
Invest in a facial cream like Pharrell skincare line or Anthony/Hawthorne Co/something that allows your skin to hydrate while pulling from the air
You can also use tendskin or Anthony’s bump reducer treatment or bump stoppers creme
I know investing in skincare can be expensive but look for coupons or sign up for the brands I use( or any brand) and you will usually get coupons because they need the business that bad

Buy a double edge/safety razor. Get a few different types of blades, find the one that works best on your skin along with a good soap that does the same. The key to all of this is an alum block:

This right here shows you exactly where you're lacking because the places where it hurts your face are where you're messing up your technique and that leads to bumps/irritation.

It might take a bit of time to find the right combo for your skin but when you do there is nothing like it as you look super crisp, face is glowing and its much cheaper that multiblade carts plus you don't get any of this:

Bumps occur due to those multiblades as each pass = 4 or 5 blades scraping against your face and they've got no precision/weight behind them and the tinned gels don't have the same kind of glide as a soap you lather yourself. I wouldn't use one of them setups now if you paid me.

Learn the layout of your face, which way the hair grows where (Alum block, remember?), go with the grain using quality blades/soap and you're good. Anything less is an insult to yourself. If you're bumped up now, grow your struggle beard to let it all heal first and once the skin is cool then do what I said in this thread and you'll see how easy it all is with the right tools.

Multiblades + Curly hair = Cutting under the skin level = Welcome to New Bump City.

Single blade razor avoids all of that and is a far better shave overall. I'd never switch back now because once you get the hang of it it actually makes shaving feel nice again and not a chore plus your skin is radiant.

Basically the problem is the coarse hair poking back into your skin. I've dealt with it for years on the back of my neck. about 2 months ago, it was the worst it's been ever. My cousin told me to drench it with rubbing alcohol several times a day. Even sleeping with a alcohol soaked rag on the area. A month or so later, it's better than it's been in year. I've notice my diet effects it too. Good look fellas.

For me, i stopped shaving entirely. Only use clippers on my face now. Did wonders, haven't seen a bump in a long time.

Used to trim everything off at first too, which worked fine, although nowadays i just keep a stubble length beard at all times.
Yup clippers or trimmers are my goto. I used an electric shaver once and bumped up the next day.

wet shaving a dope ritual too, feel like you're actually taking care of yourself and not just doing a chore
