I really dont get it, I love boxing but you damn sure wont catch me taking my son or nephews to a gym with hopes of them becoming boxers. You gotta be a real shyt parent to steer your son to a sport where they've found early brain damage in dead high school Handeggers :scust:

Basketball
Baseball
The REAL football

Those are the holy trinity, keep them brain cells in tact.

Breh, there are multiple ways to box, and teach boxing. The moment I can, I'm gonna teach my son how to box ,wrestle, and fight muay Thai using drills and very, very light pad or noodle work to protect wrists, hands, and knees. Throw in some really light contact pad sparring when he gets older. I really can't in good faith send a kid out in the world not knowing how to scrap.

When I was growing up in the 90s my trainers knew about head injuries, but they didn't know shyt about prot

If my kid grows up and wants to be a warrior and is going to risk dying in the ring, then the risks are much more apparent then the ones in football. There is no confusion with combat sports, when you lace em up you risk dying in the ring before the fight is over and some people love it. Contrast this with football where the players won a lawsuit because they were not properly informed of the risks as an adult and got a measly 180000
