If my math is correct they got close to 200k a piece and most likely after lawyer fees got half of that. He also signed a 31 million dollar contract with the Redskins, so I doubt he needs the money (even though we know he ain't get the full contract from Washington)

To everybody saying play baseball...baseball is pretty expensive sport which is another reason why mostly cacs play it. To buy equipment, batting practice at the cages, lessons it adds up. With football, all you need is just a football and you good to go.

Jameis would have likely been a first round baseball pick. And shyt why not having more money and a better career, look at Jeff Samardzija. he just signed a five year 90/million dollar contract ain't he's not even good.

By all accounts, Jameis wasn't projected to be as great of a baseball player as he would a football player. He could potentially be an elite QB, and even if he's just slightly above average, he'll still get paid alot.

Winston stands to make waaaaaaay more than 5 years 90 mil as an NFL QB. I doubt Brady and Russell would have gotten paid as much as they did had they played baseball
