This is utter nonsense. All those guys are trash. Did teams just fail Jake Locker, Blake Bortles, Josh McCown, EJ Manuel, Johnny Manziel, Marcus Mariota, Carson Wentz, Paxton Lynch, Mitchell Trubisky, etc.?

All of them would have been great if they were given 70 starts by this logic.

Do people think Indy wants Anthony Richardson to fail? He was 2/15 in the first half and requested to come out after he scrambled because he said he was tired. How the fukk do people think that's going to play in a locker room of professional grown men, all busting their ass to win? Anyone clutching their pearls over this bust getting rightly benched needs a reality check.

Richardson is completing 44% of his passes in a league where everybody is over 60% and it's never been easier for passing. He has a lower QB Rating than Bryce Young and MUCH lower than that scrub Will Levis. Skylar Thompson has a QB Rating over 20 points higher. :mjlol:
The Browns failed Johnny football by not giving him 70 starts:troll:

Richardson was known to have major accuracy problems coming into the league.

Why is everyone shocked that he can't complete passes at this level?

Everyone talking about Richardson's ceiling mentions his running ability. But he needs to be Cam Newton to be a viable starter. That's a massive ask.

I honestly don't know what the hell people see in this guy. What about Richardson's profile are you guys seeing that you didn't see with Justin Fields? And if you saw how Justin Fields turned out why would you think this would play out differently?

In the NFL you can either pass or you can't.
Being accurate doesn't guarantee success but being inaccurate guarantees failure.

This exactly.

How do you draft a project QB then get mad he's a project?

They have no plan, other than trying to save their jobs by fighting for a 7th seed.

Which likely leaves us drafting too high to get a QB, so no real plan next year either. Flacco will be 40 before the season ends.

I hope the GM/HC/DC get cleaned out too.

If Justin Herbert was on the Colts with Adonai Mitchell, Josh Downs and Michael Pittman, the Colts would be leading the division by 2 games.
A quarterback who couldn't go anywhere when his running back was scoring more touchdowns than anyone and his number 1 receiver was putting up 1200 yard seasons would take the colts somewhere that haven't been?

Herbert who on 3rd and 8 is known for throwing the ball 10 yards over the receivers head, which is how you lose a 4 score lead in a playofff game.
Herbert competes 61% of his passes on third down in his career which is higher than AR overall

Idk why you are trying to make a comparison to one of the most innacurate QBs in nfl history :russ:

Gardner minshew won 7 games with this colts coach and roster but Herbert wouldn’t have them in the playoffs :russ:
