I don't need them in the movies, but the Netflix shows could so better integrating the MCU events into the Netflix series? Why aren't the Defenders on SHIELD's radar? Have any of them been approached to sign the Sokovia accords? What do the Hand and Hydra do if/when they cross paths?
This is ridiculous. They're all connected in a story sense. They mention "the incident" so damn much in the Netflix shows and shield clearly reflected winter soldier. It's as simple as one division choosing not to acknowledge another. It's big brother ignoring little brother. Simple shyt. Is there a way for them to all play nice? Sure. But it ain't happening right now. It doesn't mean the universe isn't connected and that these characters don't walk the same blocks. Bad boy (marvel films) is just acting like death row (tv) doesn't exist until loeb and company get their suge knight on at the source awards '18

I hear you but as big a deal as both AOS and CW independently made of registering, both JJ and LC should have been approached because neither particularly hide what they can do. Nobody's acting like Tony Stark should be waking into Alias investigations (at least I'm not) but these are concepts that should be spread throughout the MCU/TV/Netflix imo. I'll even concede that DD might be off the radar.
Lol again that's a story reason that makes sense when there's a perfect reason behind the scenes. They're choosing to ignore them plain and simple. Justin hammer was mentioned in Luke cage. Thor was referenced in daredevil. And they say the incident at nausuem. The film boys just don't want to acknowledge them. That's the bottom line. This is just like the James Bond code name madness. Rather than accept the true to life fact of a character never "aging" or looking different because different people have played him, cats need to apply something to it that doesn't need it.

The TV shows are definitely in the same universe as the movies, but it's a 1-way street. And I can't really blame the movie side when maybe 3M people watch AOS, so it doesn't really make sense to cater to such a small group.
I just treat the ABC & Netflix shows like comic spinoffs from the main Universe Whatever book

First time I'm hearing this split between the tv world and the movies. From what was told is that the movies protect world and the tv shows protect the neighborhoods. I think that concept is cool but like many of said, even a quick cameo like AoS do with secondary characters from the movies work. I would love for DD to cameo to help Spidey on a case.
From what I hear the film schedules between both makes it hard. Films usually take a whole year while the tv shows a few months. I dunno I hope we do see these guys mix and mingle. It's the whole reason we are investing in this shared universe

Really the movies want to SELL IT when they eventually do have Daredevil and Jessica Jones in the movies. It's going to happen in at least one of the next two Avengers movies so just calm your panties and wait for the event movie to have eventful shyt in them.
