I was fine with this behind the scenes but when they actors start walking around like their sh!t don't stink its getting ridiculous.

at this point, i'm not sure i care anymore. these netflix dudes can't stack up. what's the word comicheads use... nerf? their powers seem "nerfed."

Netflix needs to wise the fukk up and make these things 10 eps of less. that's the biggest concern.

Luke Cage in the MCU movie-verse would be this:

main-qimg-a810d1c29026350658cdf84fa3f7ccfb

That's him in the comics. But on netflix, because of budgets, he's pretty much Captain America / Bucky level. That is a bit of a 'nerf'.

It was evident watching JJ and LC that Netflix was at their budgetary limits trying to bring characters like them to life. Maybe less episodes would allow them to re-purpose some of that cash.

Jessica Jones can leap over buildings but they had to revert to cutaway scenes of the neighborhood cops lookin up in amazement when she hulk-jumps away.

Cottonmouth referred to Captain America by name on "Luke Cage".

I don't get most of this thread. They clearly take place in the same universe, even if The Defenders don't appear in the MCU. I don't even get this outcry for it in the first place. Black Widow and Hawkeye are the most useless Avengers, so why do people want more useless heroes like Punisher and Daredevil fighting Thanos? Even Jessica Jones and Luke Cage wouldn't be able to do shyt against him.

If they appear and it's just a quick shot as fan service, cool. If they don't :yeshrug:

And as far as Marvel's internal problems keeping the TV/MCU separate, if Marvel and Fox can work together for "Legion", then anything is possible.

Fred.

Problem for me is that Tony went to NYC to recruit Spidey for the fight but didn't want to at least meet with DD and Luke Cage, who are pretty much well known in NY.

Also I still don't understand why they couldn't just put a CG Avengers Tower in the show when the CW puts a fake Star Labs in every episode

That's not necessarily true. FOX controls all things X-MEN. Which Legion falls under. They put MARVEL TV on for branding and give Marvel money from the show. But KINGBERG (-X-MEN) gatekeeper and Noah Hawley have full control of Legion. MARVEL TV isn't really involved with the show.

..and they're not likely to mention their movies or characters either on that show.

They wouldn't even have to fight Thanos. It's like they forgot how "mega-events" actually used to be.

Look at the ACTUAL Infinity Gauntlet/War/Crusade.

Either the street level folks dealing with the fallout, or folks on their shows dealing with them randomly disappearing, or they're fighting their evil demonic doppleganger.

But nah, they don't even really need to meet. THey're doing it right, as is. Avengers level stuff SHOULD be over the heads of Daredevil and the like. It should be referenced by the citizens on some "holy shyt" type stuff. Like Galactus and Inferno in the comics. Citizens still don't know what the fukk happened, but they're scared shytless.

At the very most the street level Netflix shyt should brush against the TV/SHIELD level stuff, and the SHIELD Level stuff should brush against the movies.

But no, I don't wanna see Punisher shooting Thanos.

You have no way of knowing that. It's the Russos, none of their MCU movies went the foot soldier route.

Even assuming there will be a bunch of faceless goons....not really, no. Especially when 1/4 of The Defenders has no powers. At the end of the day people would rather see Thor or Ironman than Black Widow or Hawkeye and the TV characters are closer to the latter than the former.

Fred.
who would that be? Luke has super strength and unbreakable skin, jessica has super strength and can "leap".Daredevil has acute senses/awareness and agility and Randy has the iron fist :dwillhuh:

But I was told the Universe was all connected and part of their 40 year plan that included them getting Spiderman back and pushing back black panther.
" :wow: "

"Marvel doing it on another level,tv and movie combined, plans for the next 30 years"

Years later*

"They're connected because a character made a reference, who really wants to see them together anyway"

:laff:

shyt is :francis: how dudes REFUSE to criticize anything they do.

Give us what you told us you were going to do or stop insulting our intelligence already.:hhh:

Literally each of the Netflix heroes (Defenders) have been a member of the Avengers at one point in time in the comics. Whenever you have a comic book event, you see the street tier level heroes mingling with even cosmic tier heroes at times. The precedent is already being set for even the solo films turning into, if not ensemble, films where you can expect cameos from different heroes. Recently in Black Panther, T'Challa got help from a couple of friends, Luke Cage and Misty Knight being two of them. Recently in the comics, Hawkeye killed Bruce Banner. Guess who the prosecutor on the case was? Matt Murdock aka Daredevil. Tony Stark stays having cocktail parties just because, and invites mad heroes over. These guys mingling really isn't anything new or out of place. I personally don't care, but when you say everything is connected you get threads like this when that's clearly not the case.

Wasn't "It's all connected" literally the tagline for AOS at some point?
