Nope not true. Especially when you're doing those big marvel movies. Just comes with the territory. If you just want to be an actor do plays and musicals.
That's like if I dress up like spider man and go walking down the street. Then get bothered if little kids wanna take a picture. Then I'm like nope I just want to walk around dressed as spiderman leave me alone.
Basically you're saying Anthony Mackie no longer exists. Besides, to the bolded: tell that to everyone who wants to take a pic, not with Lin-Manuel Miranda, but with Hamilton. Even celebrities deserve to just be themselves when they can.
The convo >>>>> the pic. The pic is just for people who automatically assume you're lying about your brief convo with an actor, so your friends want something tangible since they weren't there.
I know people who are obsessed with getting as many flicks with celebrities as possible and can't understand how someone like myself who tends to run into them more than the average person doesn't. I'm talkin people who go to every convention, every Comic-con, every Exxotica, every time a wrestler pulls up into town. I know dudes who blow hundreds on flicks in a given day. It's weird. The only time I've ever been like the grandma was for my niece who wanted to take a pic with LaMelo Ball, but luckily I had seen him a couple of times prior so it wasn't out the blue.
Nowadays it's easier for the kid to simply pull up and ask rather than have a parent try to be the middle man. It's hard to dismiss a kid. It's easy to dismiss an adult. Kids are genuine with their intentions. Adults be on some other shyt.
