Yeah after he hurt lil dudes feelings.

I know it’s hard being a celebrity. But people are gonna look up to him as more than just an actor with that roll.

Hell i’m a grown ass man and i feel a sense of pride and fandom at the idea of him playing captain america.

If you are my age, we didn’t have any Anthony Mackies on tv/movies when we were kids.

I’m beyond excited that my kids do get to see guys like him do big stuff. Nothing wrong with me saying that.

I’m bout to buy them all types of captain america shyt :manny:

Now you're making a little more sense by adding in the part about your kids.

Just be careful with how much you allow them to become engrossed with this silly notion of "heros" existing within the TV screen, movie theatre, or radio. You don't want them to be the next victim of that well known saying: "Never meet your heros," as the kid in this story had to endure.

fukk his feelings and fukk his fat ass momma. nikkas always crying bout unimportant shyt

EXACTLY.

Given the story, Mackie being denied entry somewhere and then him denying the young man…

I just think everyone was in their feelings to be honest.

The times I worked with Mackie as his stand in, judging by his tone and personality and the brief exchanges in dialogue I’ve had with him, I can definitely see him switching up when something isn’t going his way so I’m sure this story is true but to try to shame him about it thru social media is pointless and misses the real story by creating another issue.

Especially if he talked to the kid. That’s the thing, he didn’t brush the kid off, just didn’t want any pictures taken because he wasn’t feeling as “cool” as he normally does after he was denied something HE wanted.

End of the day, everyone was in their feelings hard

It's pretty damn arrogant and wild he refused to take a picture with a kid at the request of the woman who got him into the event. She literally did him a favor after his ass got denied entry into VIP, but he can't return the favor and take a stupid picture? He deserves all the bad press and karma.

He would've got told to eat a dikk that day.

Man stop making excuses for these uptight celebs. It takes less than a minute to snap a pic and then bounce. Engaging with fans is part of an entertainer's job description especially when the fans are not being too invasive or egregious.

I always refer to Michael Jackson in these type of situations. If anybody deserved a break from fans it would be him, but he would still take the time to be gracious with the fans. If he could do it, then celebs not anywhere close to his level could do the same.

Lil breh seems like a nice well-mannered kid but...He did offer to shake lil man's hand at chat it up with him for a bit which is better imo. They're pissed because he didn't give them a photo-op, that's entitlement he doesn't have to do that. He also looks like he was gone off dat yak and probably didn't want a pic of him looking crazy on social media and get clowned. With all that said tho Aundra can come sit on my lap and cry about it all she wants. I'm gon make her feel real good afterwards :takedat:

I LIVE IN A CARDBOARD BOX!
so instead of a pic he had a conversation with him, which most people wont take a moment to do, and they still complained?
Bill Rusell got all kinds of hell from Celtics fans for not signing autographs, but I always liked this quote by him:

“I don't believe in autographs. Let's go get a cup of coffee and have a conversation instead.” - Bill Russell

so if he signs some autographs all crime in new orleans will cease?

:mjlol: this woman is delusional and entitled. how about you find a role model for your kid who isn't an entertainer.

that's the only problem i have with it. i can understand not wanting to take a pic under normal circumstances, but the lady just did him a solid. the least he could've done was show some appreciation and take a pic with the young man.

It's not.

His job is to show up to rehearsal, know his lines, and show up for promos.
Nope not true. Especially when you're doing those big marvel movies. Just comes with the territory. If you just want to be an actor do plays and musicals.

That's like if I dress up like spider man and go walking down the street. Then get bothered if little kids wanna take a picture. Then I'm like nope I just want to walk around dressed as spiderman leave me alone.

Just take the fukking picture, you get paid millions because kids like him go see your shytty movies and buy your awful merch.
He makes movies for people’s enjoyment, people pay to see his movies. That’s the exchange.
Taking pictures and signing autographs is part of the job
No it’s not
takes less than a minute to snap a pic and then bounce.
How many to take a bunch more when everyone in the spot realizes there’s a celebrity taking pics?

Man just watched his team lose, got a drink and cigar and is clearly on some chill shyt.
