Yes of course. Because the rules also mandated that you must have robotic jump shot form and shoot push shots around the basket with defenders right under you instead of using 1 hand floaters or gliding to the basket to lay up off the glass.

Of course, my whole argument has been put to rest. Yes, y'all are correct. Dribbling rules definitely caused ugly finishing around the basket also .

His layups and dunks were the same as today's game. His dribbling, jump shot form, and finishing around the close range was kinda ugly.
