There you go, once David griffin joined pels I knew trade will go down.

Once again small market teams giving out dollars for pennies lol after top 3 the rest of players are so so in draft

Glad they didnt have to include kyle kuzma

Ingram is a good player but them bloodcloths worry a lot, hops he has a long career, still a player with a lot of potential

What if we sign another max player to replace Bron in 3 years though? Once he retires that opens up a max slot. AD will be 29-30 then, still in his prime. We should be able to get a max FA aged around 26-28 at that time. In that case we still wouldnt need those pics 5-6 years from now.

Depends what the cap looks like

In 22-23 anthony Davis will make 48 mil

If the Lakers get another max guy this summer then he will be making 40 mil by 22-23 also

Kuzma will be off rookie deal and already signed a normal contract

Be shortsighted, brehs

When has giving away unprotected picks 5 and 6 years out with an old star ever worked out good? :dead:

Myopia is warranted when you have a 35 year old LeBron James on your squad.

Unprotected picks are like unprotected sex... it's always risky, but sometimes it must be done.

The cap's gotta be higher by then. Bron leaving will free up 41 mil I'd imagine that'd be enough for a max player

and if we get another max player like say Ky or Kawhi, both would be in the 29-31 range once Bron leaves. So Ky/Ad or Kawhi/AD would still be good enough at that time to get to the playoffs and compete, making those picks not that big of a deal.
