Nah. They’re gonna have to spread that $32 million out on maybe 3 players so that they can have some depth. At this point, they can’t afford to roll with 3 max players because they won’t be able to field a full team. It’s a long season so depth is a priority

Lol NO robbed them. I'm curious to hear what most of the Laker fans think.

At first glance I really though that the LA got screwed, but then again they just got one of the best players in the league to team with probably the top player in the league. It will be interesting to see what free agents they can get, but they have already gotten better.

I will give the Pelicans some credit for getting the players and the picks, but the players that they got in the trade did not even help LA make the playoffs. I like Ingram, but he is coming off of a pretty serious illness and he will likely be on medication so we don't how that is going to turn out. Zion is going to be a stud, but he and that 4th pick are still going to be rookies. That is not even mentioning that distracting ass Ball circus that is about to hit NO. So I will say that NO got the better end of the deal, but LA got the proven commodity.

What if we sign another max player to replace Bron in 3 years though? Once he retires that opens up a max slot. AD will be 29-30 then, still in his prime. We should be able to get a max FA aged around 26-28 at that time. In that case we still wouldnt need those pics 5-6 years from now.
