I stils say the lakers gave up way too damn much since the deal aint done I'd make sure the pelicans made it to my advantage or they could just keep AD...and since im sure they wouldn't want that They would be willing to wait until the later date to make sure the Lakers have the most cap possible.

How would they sign another star with all that money on the roster ?? Suns literally took salary off them and asked for picks that could go anywhere for it. . If it wasn't the sun's...they would trade them as salary dump and take back players would they would have to dump again.

Kuzma looks absolutely average, and that’s the only other player they would’ve missed on by not taking the first deal and AD was leaving anyway so I’d say no big loss

At some point you gotta decide if you was content with winning 45-50 games with AD, who was leaving anyway or if you want to trust the FO to build another squad.
