Anthony Davis injury update: Former Kentucky star to head to Vegas for Olympic camp - London Olympics 2012 - Sporting News
Anthony Davis will be in Las Vegas this weekend for Team USA's training camp, despite an ankle injury, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.
A source told Wojnarowski that "the injury isn't as bad as originally thought," and that Davis "really wants to play."

How much Davis will be able to do at the camp is not known.
Davis, the No. 1 pick in last week's NBA Draft by the New Orleans Hornets, suffered the ankle injury during a workout with the Hornets.
Because of injuries to Dwight Howard, LaMarcus Aldridge and Chris Bosh, the pool of available big man for the U.S. team is pretty thin. Lamar Odom's recent decision to withdraw from contention to focus on the upcoming season didn't help matters. Tyson Chandler, Kevin Love and Blake Griffin are the only post players on the current roster.
