I think it is smart what they did. It makes those Lakers players that were in that deal not bust their ass for the rest of the season because the Lakers are ready to cast them off. If I'm the Pelicans I want Ingram included in that deal next, so I can leak it to the media again. I want all that young core looking at Magic and Lebron sideways.

It will be a big if, but if Knicks are able to get Kyrie, KD, that first pick in this year's draft, and the other two first picks they got from Dallas. They can turn those picks and filler for AD. Lakers will be left holding their meat in their hands with nothing show for it once again. Magic cannot fumble this time because its apparent that guys like Kawhi, Durant, Klay, and Butler are most likely not going there to team up with Bron.
