I think the trade is happening before the deadline now. Pelicans have reached point of no return with AD. It's best for both if they part ways now. Because the Pelicans aren't gonna get Tatum for AD, if Kyrie leaves (which now looks like it's very possible) Then the Pelicans would be fukked. They have to take Lakers deal now.

People on twitter are suggesting NO will ask for that and that the Lakers take on a contract(s). That's a good deal. Waiting to see if the Knicks get that first overall pick or if the Celtics will give up Tatum after Davis' camp has poisoned the well is risky.
