Unfortunately for you EA isn't interested in that anymore. It's all about games as a service now. The only AAA publishers still interested in making single player games with strong stories are Sony and Bethesda and the latter is wavering on that as Fallout 76 can attest.

New Dragon Age, Mass Effect titles will be heavily influenced by Anthem, says Bioware - VG247

Bioware’s new sci-fi loot-shooter Anthem is already influencing how the development team will create future titles in the Dragon Age and Mass Effect franchises.

Speaking at PAX West this weekend, the team at Bioware said that Anthem’s story structure, which will be delivered as part of a live service allowing the team to continue to write and release new storylines post release, is a method it expects to employ for its other much-loved franchises.

“First, so, no loot boxes,” executive producer Mark Darrah reiterated. “There will be some cosmetic stock that you can pay for but it will always be earnable. For storytelling we don’t want to divide the audience, we want people to be able to experience the same stories so none of that is going to be locked.”

High-level gear and weapons can be earned by playing the game but some of them may be locked behind certain challenges. For example, “Strongholds will give certain things,” according to Darrah.

Separately, in an interview with CinemaBlend, Darrah said that Anthem‘s DLC will continue evolving character stories.

“Because of the way that we’re going to release story and additional character moments in Anthem, we can continue to evolve the character forward in a way that we haven’t done before,” he explained.

Anthem Gets Public Demo Release Date and New Trailer Showcasing Its Dynamic World
Electronic Arts and BioWare announced during PAX West 2018 that Anthem‘s highly-anticipated public demo will go live on February 1, 2019 – three weeks ahead of the game’s release.
PlayStation 4 players who want to partake in the demo will need to preorder Anthem to gain access (persistent internet connection required). If you’ve already preordered then you’re all set and there’s nothing further that you need to do. More information will be available in due course.

BioWare has previously stated that it won’t be conducting any public technical tests so the demo will reflect the final game. “We’re going to be testing the game in closed alphas, and then the stuff that is out to the public is a demo,” the developer
told VG247 last week.
