They trippin over 5 racks? :childplease:

She’s a lawyer with no associates who have that kind of change in their pockets? Something smells funny on this conviction.

Why did she need to lie about that? One of the qualifying withdrawals that you can make from your 401k is for a down payment on a home.

I think (keyword think) you can only do that for a home you plan on living in. She might have did it for a rental property.

But honestly, who gives a fukk. It's her money anyway and she earned it. The worst that should have happened is that she pays an early withdrawal penalty and has to claim it as income on her taxes. This is bullshyt

I read something once like deep in Google search results that was saying there was a quote like:

anyone of us commits a federal violation on any month of your life, it's just a matter of applying the statute, where no one really ever would, UNLESS federal prosecutors started sifting through your entire life.

which may be overstated, but I always thought there was some truth to that. That's partially why we in a western national try so hard to have an accountable Justice Department. You could lie on a document, and be questioned by a federal agent, mislead them, and then be up for two federal felonies. That's what using special counsels against political opponents is so shaky.

Trespassing on federal land, (that vacant lot behind your house) withholding your gambling earnings, flying to a foreign country to participate in sex trafficking, lying on a government form, destruction of federal property (smashing a mailbox), conspiracy to conduct interference of interstate commerce (robbing a liquor store which sells Mexican coca cola)

you can go on and on. Lying on your income taxes, I saw a case about port a potties, where they violated some EPA law about waste dumping. I know a legal dispensary that was indicted for toxic waste disposal. Dumping barrels in some creek bed. Bringing two escorts to Vegas = sex trafficking. Bringing two strippers from TJ to San Diego for the purpose of sex work = conspiracy to commit commercial sex acts. Lying on a federal firearms form. My boys uncle got charged in a RICO, dude is an old man who was running a little book at his part time casino job.

This has some truth but its a gray area...

They made her commit fraud?
It's a BS charge. She took money from her 401K to help by a new home. Something people do every day. She claimed a covid hardship to avoid penalties for early withdrawal and the jealous redneck cacs and c00ns on the jury determined that her salary was too high to experience any financial hardship.

"But white people do it," is the worst justification for someone committing a crime. Many white people don't even know how to properly clean themselves so does that make it okay for you to go outside smelling like wet dog and boiled bologna?

Looks like the dumb bytch committed a crime for no other reason than because she felt she could and in the process forgot she was a black woman in a position of power and thus could be subject to heightened scrutiny at any moment. She of all people should have known better, what an idiot.

Agreed. A good example of that is on ATF Form 4473, section 21f. It’s fukked up

@vino
How about detail surrounding a gift of equity, do you ever see fraud indicators rise on these? Or maybe not since that wouldn’t affect the loan/lender itself?
