It affects them too,
they often have to live a more intergrated lifestyle the average black person because their isn't as much of a community with the sciencey tech black crowd as there is with the hood crowd
You will more likely see them with mixed friend groups and white spouses as a result

but more than that even he still tried to adopt the appearance of a someone that fit in more with people in the blue collar black community than his peers in the science community when he was young. there wasn't any astrophysicists dressing like this in grad school outside of him. he took that from outside his peer group.

Okay, at first I was gonna shoot him some bail but this nikka was legit dressed like the lead in a blaxploitation flick :mjlol:

Regis coming off as a goofy hating ass nikka.

He'd actually have a point, if Devin was fronting all over the place acting like he something he not, but dude is mad humble with it.

There's a million better ways to sell a fight and this is definitely not one of them. If you think the nikka soft, just say that and keep it moving. All the poverty think pieces on a nikka you don't even know like that is just fukking lame.

People are mad he has chains etc

You don’t need to be a street nikka to wear grills and chains. Bro doesn’t bother anyone and is a dedicated athlete.

Lol exactly. What does wearing a chain and Jordan's or some shyt have to do with being "street"???

Funny thing is half of these "street" rappers" dudes love glorifying come from the suburbs or middle class families themselves.

I feel like being broke and struggling directly correlates to boxing skill. When you're hungry, you're hungry. :yeshrug:
Idk correlating with boxing skill but it really is all about. Hunger and what it took (or the lackthereof) to get to where they are for this fight. Idk wtf this crab in a bucket talk is about. @UpAndComing you actually watch boxing so I'm surprised to see this take from you -- but then again maybe you just don't like Rougarou :pachaha:

I'm saying that if you take 2 dudes who are training, one from the hood, struggled all his life and this is his chance to make it... and put him against somebody who was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, I'm taking the down bad breh every time.

I need struggle in my boxing. :banderas:

How many black people are actually raised in Carlton type households though? But you are right in the fact that cats need to stop being ashamed of having help. That's the whole fukking point of your parents having to grind and make it. It's so your children don't have to struggle. We so backwards at times it's ridiculous :why: . Cacs have ZERO problem tellin mufukkaz how their parents/grandparents left this, that, and the 3rd to them so they can start off their adult lives with something. But us? :snoop: . It's insecurity like a mufukka. Too much "we black, we supposed to be poor" ass mentality nikkaz out here. You not black enough if you weren't broke type shyt. Bozo shyt.

But there are a lot of upper middle class black families now. shyt, I know my sons are growing up as upper middle class nikkas. And we live in an area with a lot of similar type black families too. Know better, do better. But stop being ashamed of having some advantages. That's what your parents worked for nikkaz! And if they didn't, you do it so your kids don't!

Beyond stupid and retarded. Looking goofy as hell. Hate seeing kids in my area do it. Thankfully those types are few and far between because the parents know better.
I used to think the same thing when I was younger, but cacs are real cutthroat with their wealth. More and more cac celebrities are talking about leaving their fortune to charities. I believe I said it in the Aries Spears thread about nepotism, and that's struggling is not something to aspire to. Surviving the struggle is commendable, purposely putting yourself in the struggle is stupid.
