Mitchell then recollects a call he received on Labor Day, likely the year before, from his ex-wife’s boyfriend at the time. The boyfriend informed him to call a social worker about seeing his children. The former “One on One” actor claims he called the social worker, who was shocked to learn how hard he was working to be an active parent after being told by Hampton that he “didn’t want to be around.”
The “Like Mike 2” star said he was later informed about another upcoming court date regarding visitation. While there, he noticed his kids “were angry” and declined the chance to live with him when asked by the judge. Still, he was granted visitation, which began around Allure’s birthday in October. He said the first visit was “beautiful,” but on the second visit, “the kids were angry.”
@Colicat the children were offered the chance to live with Mitchell and they declined. He STILL however proceeded with visitation.
The above proves that it is FACT that she wasn’t showing up to court OR reunification therapy and that the judge both noted this and was frustrated by it. I felt it was necessary to show this as it directly correlates with the ending of this post.
The document also shows Kel Mitchell’s attorney explaining how the therapist that was hired to help with visitation says that Tyisha coaches “works on the kids” before the sessions. The Judge then asks him about seeing the kids and is shocked that it has been six years because of their mother.
I think that it can be inferred from the above court documents that there was an ACTIVE plot to keep the father from being involved in his children‘s lives, and even despite his BEST efforts to fight through the programming and anti-parental grooming that was taking place, even the THERAPIST noted that there was coaching happening. We also wanted to share a more recent court order from the ongoing court battles where the judge ruled in favor of Kel not having to pay child support because he had been alienated from his children.

Once Kel Mitchell was back in his kids’ lives, he continued to spend time with them! He did a PART TWO of his video in 2015 thanking God for working everything out for him and his family.
We did a deep dive into Kel’s social media and found nearly 40 photos and videos of family memories from 2016 to last year which included Allure and her brother Lyric.

So, per my last post talking about how the father and his daughter can attempt to MOVE FORWARD it should be noted, recognized, and yes APPRECIATED what the father went through in order to be in his child’s life, and MUCH more than simply providing financially. The daughter should be made aware that both her and the father are VICTIMS of DELIBERATE parental alienation from her vindictive mother and armed with that knowledge she can look at her father in a new and understanding light.
