you seriously going to pretend like he should be holding the opposing teams best perimeter player to nothing? He makes it tough while having to constantly attack on offense due to what he's working with.

wolves are also tied for ninth in team rebounding. the whole "he doesn't get boards argument" would make more sense if his team wasn't a good boarding team, but they are and there's really no reason for him to snatch boards away from his big men ala lance stephenson. he still gets 1.5 offensive boards, which is about the same as the most kobe ever got during his career. westbrook is getting 7.3 boards and only 1.8 offensive boards(although it makes more sense for him to get defensive boards so he can just go end to end). again the whole "he doesn't get boards" just applies to the fact he's not getting defensive boards, which for most guards just involves them taking boards their big men would get anyways.

But analytics tell me his Defensive rating is 110....which is good enough for him to be ranked 244th out of 264 in NBA amongst players who's averaging at least 12 mpg this season.

His 3 ball is bad but his midrange j isnt bad imo. Plus i dont think his 3 ball is has bad has it seems right now. He's just really streaky. Definitely needs to improve I just dont think its onna be an issue for him to improve his jumper because its not broken like an mkg

He's never been a shooter, even at Kansas. Actually he's always been a pretty subpar one for the amount of freedom he's had to jack shots up. Stop acting like he'll become one just because you say so.

If the team inverted Lavine and Wiggins roles, they would IMMEDIATELY become significantly better.

Levine is the more efficient scorer

Better passer

Better rebounder

Better ball handler

Equal the defender.

Lavine should be the starting SG while Wiggins comes off the bench. But the Wolves don't have the balls to do that sooooo they'll continue to lose 50-60 games a season until they do.

Can you provide any context behind his defensive rating or are you just going to selectively leave that out on the account that you don't watch games and it's much easier just to pick and choose what numbers to go by?
