Bynum: "Dwight's a great player, but he's going to have to get accustomed to playing with Kobe and not touching the ball every single play."

"Health is going to be an issue. There's nothing I can really do about it. It's arthritis in the knees. Cartilage is missing. That's not going to regrow itself. Maybe in the future, the next three to five years, there may be something out there that really does help. For right now, it's a waiting game."

:damn:

Sixers lost hard :wow:

^^^:what::wtf:

how did the lakers rape philly? it was a 4-way deal.

im not even sure that the lakers got anything from the sixers. maybe some worthless draft picks.

edit: i was about to say jodie meeks but the lakers picked him up via free agency.

theres no way dwight was gonna re-sign with the sixers. with bynum, it was at least a 50/50 chance that he would re-sign(also, keep in mind that hes from PA). and he already said that he plans to re-sign months ago.

you dont understand what we're saying about igoudala's contract because you dont follow the team like that and youre not from here. thats what this all boils down to. i dont understand why yall keep trying to force an argument out of this.

i liken it to the joe johnson trade(albeit, johnson is better but he has a bigger contract, so it evens out). i understood why they got rid of him and his contract but at the same time, myself and others on here felt like the hawks were trying to tank and start over. and we were wrong about that.
:smh: what part of u dose not understanding this trade added 5mill MORE to da sixers salary cap :smh:

its unbelievable -u trying to justify this trade :snoop: comeon homie let it go

and how mitch gonna feel if dwight leaves him in da bushes :rudy:

Do you think he is going to leave all those millions, he's playing for the #1 franchise in basketball, he loves living in LA, and he loves being in the limelight?

It's not like the Mavs can offer him a better situation when they're also struggling.

:what: that's bad coaching if he wouldn't get minutes over a player he's better than . And you think we would cared if you traded iggy for pieces to make your team better in a small trade ?? Soon as you started winning the haters would shut up . Like how the Knicks were hated on all offseason for being AARP

well i cant respond to that, seeing as how i dont know what player youre referring to.

where do yall keep getting this "you" and "your team" stuff from? how many times do i have to tell yall that im not a fan of these sixers?:why:

and i stayed telling people all offseason that the knicks were going to be the real deal this year and that they were gonna have a 2-seed in the playoffs. dont try to use that knicks chit against me doogie.

obviously thats not an issue and they felt more comfortable paying more for bynum rather than the money that went to iggy.

i dont know why you keep mentioning this.

^^@kingofnyc

yes, that move makes plenty of sense. this is my last time posting this. i think some of you just like to revel in ignorance.

instead of just letting igoudala's contract run out, they made a move and took a chance on bynum, knowing that he might resign(which he plans on doing). this gives them a franchise player - who just so happens to be considered the 2nd best big man in the league. so you get that in return for a guy that youve been trying to dish off for years.

and j.rich is having a better season than igoudala. not to mention that holiday, turner, young & hawes are all having their best seasons right now. iggy's presence was a hinderance to all of them except maybe hawes.

all of this has been said numerous times in here by numerous people. what dont yall understand?

the only way the sixers will take an L is if they re-sign bynum to a huge contract and he stays injured. if that happens, then yall can talk smack about THAT MOVE all day. but this situation right here is a win/win. nothing to lose.

What you seem to be saying is that any trade that got rid of that one year left on Iguodala's contract was an automatic win, no matter who else you gave up or who else you got. I don't agree, but apparently the only reason for that is that I'm not from Philadelphia :manny:

you dont understand the move because you dont follow the team.

simple as that.

I follow the team enough to know that the absence of Lou Williams is just as much of a reason for some of those guys getting more minutes and points, I follow the team enough to know that they're below .500 and are no better than they were last year. I follow the team enough to know that they're not winning shyt with Spencer Hawes as their center.

And I understand the move. If Bynum is at all healthy and can come in and be their center long term, then that deal is definitely a win since they didn't want Iguoadala to be part of their future anyway. But if he sits in a suit all year and bounces and they gave up Vucevic, Iguodala, and Harkless for a :flabbynsick: Jason Richardson with 2 more years left on his :flabbynsick: contract, that trade is not a win and you'd be a god damned idiot to say otherwise.

- no. if you followed the team enough, you'd know that its not just about minutes and points. theyre playing all-around better basketball this season as a whole. better ball movement and all that. similar to the hawks trading joe johnson. that trade didnt look good on paper at all but look at them now.

- spencer hawes isnt intended to be their starting center, obviously.

- yes they are under .500 but theyre only like 2 games out of 5th place. the east is better this year. hell, the entire nba is better this year. celtics, nets, pacers, bucks....all in the same boat. if they kept igoudala, they would be in the same position or worst.

- if you understand the move, then what are you yappin about?

- if bynum sits in a suit and bounces then they dont care. they dont lose anything!!! thats the point!!!

- i dont know how many times i have to tell yall: nobody cares about vucevic, they werent bringing igoudala back anyway, and harkless would most likely only be suiting up for the practice squad.

- jason richardson was a good pickup. again, if you follow this team like you claim, you would know this and know that dude is ballin. its like yall are talking in circles in here, ignoring all this chit just so that you can play wannabe-gm.

man this is the part where i start choking dudes out in real life. yall just talking out yall @$$ at this point. im about done here.
