Are you serious really are you serious. IGGY have two years left on his deal and it will raise each yea. Bynum was worth a risk and that first rounder wont be shyt. Harkless a poor man thaddeus young. Sixers made out great. They will have 16 milliom in cap next year and maybe more with the multiple 1 year deals they have.

Jrich contract is heavy but NBA does have ammesty clause.

the 2nd year is a player option that he could very well opt out of. That's why Iggy's sadly not a T'wolf.

1-if u didnt want iggy u could have traded him st8 up for an expiring contract without giving up a 1st round pick
2-taking on j rich contract dedeats da purpose of getting way under da cap -u cant amnesty him they already used it on e. brand :snoop:

yall nikkaz sound more n more ridiculous

1st yall was saying (its a great trade) with drew "we can win da atlantic & be a #2 seed"
now since ur yall man is hurt (its a great trade) without drew "we can free up 16million in cap space

my nikka u cant have it both wayz

Who is Philly gonna sign with this capspace?

it doesnt even matter

A healthy Andrew Bynum is the only thing that makes us a contender...and its not just him playing healthy, its that he would attract another player to come in next year, and then we'd be real players

we are not just '1 piece away'... i wish we wouldve skipped out on Bynum and tried to get into that James Harden trade :noah:

Us bringing in Josh Smith next year for example, doesnt do much in my opinion

Even if they didn't amnesty Brand they wouldn't have been able to do it to J-Rich. The player had to be on your roster when the amnesty clause was put in.

I don't see how this is a bad trade. They got rid of Iggy's contract. That's a win. Took a chance on Bynum. If he doesn't play, it's cap space. If he plays and beasts then good for them. They're still not winning a championship. As for the draft pick, who cares, the team doesn't draft that well anyway and by not having a pick they don't have to pay the player they draft.

How do you figure :stopitslime:

1.That draft pick is protected, the Sixers are known for drafting the same player every year anyway. It was worth the risk at the time

2.Don't even mention giving up Iggy him and Evan are having very similar season both, then they add the fact that J. Rich can actually knock down a shot losing him wasn't a big deal.

3.As for J.Rich his 3rd season is a player option, and let's forget that he's been one of the best players on this team this season as well as one of the most consistent.

End of the day the salary is off the books, the team maxed out it's potential with Iggy so :manny:

:snoop:
-pick is protected ... but its still a 1st rounder
-can u explain what iggy did to da city of brotherly love?
i dont recall a fan base hating on an 2nd team all defense/allstar/dream team 'er
-again jrich salary defeats da purpose of getting under da cap
