Harkless a poor man thaddeus young. Sixers made out great. They will have 16 milliom in cap next year and maybe more with the multiple 1 year deals they have.

I don't think the Sixers can amnesty J-Rich tho. I'm pretty sure the player had to be on your roster at the time the clause was put in. Or something along those lines.

They won't land a big free agent...which is why they took the risk on trading for Bynum, i get it...but the whole "well...they're gonna have all this of this cap space though" stuff is kinda bittersweet when you know it's just gonna be spent on some the 2nd tier at best consolation free agents

How do you figure

1.That draft pick is protected, the Sixers are known for drafting the same player every year anyway. It was worth the risk at the time

2.Don't even mention giving up Iggy him and Evan are having very similar season both, then they add the fact that J. Rich can actually knock down a shot losing him wasn't a big deal.

3.As for J.Rich his 3rd season is a player option, and let's forget that he's been one of the best players on this team this season as well as one of the most consistent.

End of the day the salary is off the books, the team maxed out it's potential with Iggy so
