The knee thing has been a lingering issue since just after the Kov fight. Insurance papers have already been filed.

It's sad that this is the reason, and hopefully he can work and get back, because he wanted the GGG/Canelo winner at 168 or Stevenson. He didn't want to retire.

Congrats on a great career. Outside of Adonis Stevenson who seemingly never wanted to fight either Kov or Ward, there's really nothing else left for Ward. Retires on top, all his tools in tact, made very good money. Salute to him.

Since it's out of nowhere this hit unexpectedly hard. This guy should have been a household name, and it's a shame he never got that. But I suspect he never wanted it that bad. Like his video said, he got what he wanted. I hope he surprises us and stays retired though. Just once I'd love a guy to go out on top and just live his life. He has a bright future as a commentator.

And Stevenson is about to get some unwanted attention from a certain somebody.
