Klassless Kovalev

He's getting roasted in the comment section though :pachaha:
more comments than likes

Kovalev is a good fighter but mentally, he is a piece of work. he eventually will end up being another Zab or Chad. but I mean they were mentally more fragile than others but Kov is just plain stupid.

Damn. I'm a casual viewer, but why didn't Ward become a mainstream star like Floyd? Ward was one of the BEST P4P boxers.

because of the difference in image and he is not a talker that likes to brag. he also wasnt flashy ala SRL. great fighter but never tried to market himself as a star.

A Ward fight is like 100 times more boring than a Floyd fight...

Now add the fact that Ward is actually a decent human being and don't have the histrionics of Floyd...he wasn't gonna become a star.

Mayweather put in A LOT of work to become a mainstream star. A lot of boxers in general would love to become mainstream stars, don't really put in the work required outside the ring to become one.

Ward was definitely interested in being a bigger name (Had a fight against Pavlik that was cancelled, wanted Chavez Jr, GGG) by trying to pursue certain fights.

Crazy he used to look up to Roy Jones and emulated some of his game now he's retiring before him :wow:

Roy Jones is the perfect example of 'in high school you was the man homie what the fukk happened to you' :Drinking:

Had enough money to retire like a king but that nikka still out there going to Russia getting dropped by names that sound like Assassins Creed characters :Drinking:

See what happens to boxers in life when they make millions and don't have Almighty Al Haymon in their corner :francis:

Thank you and God bless Al Haymon :Mayweather:

Interesting thing about this "retirement" is it feels like Andre was just getting started.

As I stated in the main thread, he's had a weird career. 2009-2012 was an amazing run where he achieved most of his success. After the Dawson fight it was really nothing but promotional problems, a shoulder injury, and tuneups. After getting acclimated to 175, he fights one of the top light heavyweights and then decides to retire.
