Never ever saw Kessler beat up like that before or since. Of course he goes on to win the tournament. The other significant time he proved me wrong was the Kovalev fight. Now I've made it be known that I thought Ward lost that fight 114-113. He showed heart and determination which I couldn't front on with enough ebb and flow to call it a FOTY candidate. The rematch, because of the first fight .I didnt think Ward could KO Kovalev and said it over and over. I was wrong. He bullied the bully and got himself a great stoppage victory. There are other decisions he has done in his career I may have not agreed with or understood. Was not a stan of his either but he got in done in the ring. That is what matters to me.
