Hcbus don’t have to get the 5 stars right off the bat

It’s plenty of kids that slipped thru the crack that was barely recruited

Get those, build the program up with quality years and have ya coach show 4-5 star players what’s been getting done and how they can continue it. Also need coaches whose in it for long haul because you know with success comes bigger job opportunities

We’ve seen it done with so many these small schools watch cbb

The problem is getting that first crop to sacrifice their potential future for the end game. It's easier in college BB, specifically with all of the 1-and-dones. For football, it's gonna be an uphill battle.

Honestly, I still don't understand why black people still are so invested to football, instead of basketball or even baseball. I mean I completely understand, but I don't understand how they don't understand that the negatives of pro-football far outweigh the positives.

These Wealthy/Celebrity HBCU alumni really need to come through for their universities. No excuse for Diddy not to be a bag man for Howard like those Cacs are at Kentucky.

Diddy for Howard
John Thompson for FAMU
DJ ENVY for Hampton

Could each give a couple of stacks under the table for a couple of four/five Star kids.

I think it only took NC STATE 80k to get Dennis Smith Jr.
