I was going to go there but I'm old I went to upward bound there. I used to live in Montgomery. Went to Robert E Lee highschool Cloverdale and Houston Hills Middles schools. Lived in Spring Valley till my family moved over by Gunter Annex.06 was my freshman year at Bama State

I went to kindergarten at Peter Crump then went magnet to Forest Ave. Then I went to Baldwin then to Cloverdale.
We lived in Woodley Park so right across from Spring Valley.

Carver was the black school, Lee, JD, and Lanier were white schools.

so were a lot schools in atlanta, but the names were changed. its more so the fact the names remain the same after them demographics has changed in the areas
They probably got some crazy state law that designates them as "historic" or some other BS.
Its expensive to change schooll names and people are defensive of that shyt.
You see how rowdy folks got when they were talking about merging laneir and carver at one point.

I want the name changed as bad as anyone but it’s not happening, I wish Reed would get it done but them white folks would throw a fit, which is hypocritical as hell because they don’t even want their kids at Lee or JD, they’d rather send their kids to MA, St James, ACA, Montgomery Catholic etc...

It’s plenty of kids that slipped thru the crack that was barely recruited
Get those, build the program up with quality years and have ya coach show 4-5 star players what’s been getting done and how they can continue it. Also need coaches whose in it for long haul because you know with success comes bigger job opportunities
