Basically he talks about how if he were recruited, he would have went to a HBCU. That seems to be the case with athletes though, HBCU'S just aren't recruiting. Thats why Andre went to University of Utah. No HBCUS recruited him or offered a scholarship.
maybe at that time, HBCU's do recruit. It's just hard to compete against the "where can I get better clothes than this" mentality that you see in the thread.

Hbcus arr.horribly mismanaged and arguably just as anti black in course material and faculty as pwi.

Got to hbcus webpages and look at the facilty list.

They dont hire black americans or hbcu grads. All they want are indians, africans, and chinese and whites.

Theyll spend money funneling shyt to worthless board members from the.civil rights era, who hate the.students and wish they were with the white folks.

On top of that, hbcus still ezploit these kids like pwi. Its no better for them to be.ezploited by a lack puppet than a white person.

Pay these kids professionaly, fukk a pwi or hbcu

Aren’t you white?

HBCUs can’t waste recruiting budget money on players they have less than a 2 percent chance of getting. I promise you if he had it made it known he was interested in an HBCU, SIAC/SWAC would’ve been beating down his door

Nikkas be quick to call cats out for being c00ns in any number of subjects ....

But as soon as this one comes up....all we get is reasons it won't work

Of course its hard. Why would you expect it wouldn't be.

It can still be done

It's not that it can't be done, it's that it takes everything to be perfectly aligned for it to work. It would be far easier in basketball to make the paradigm shift with talent, but they still would have to have to beat all of the other majors for the spotlight to be consistently shone on them. It has to be a total country wide reset.

For football, you need a weak current class, and for every major recruit for 1-3 years to commit to an HBCU. Then you need the attention on them, so you have to have every celeb alumnus to put dollars into thes programs, specifically for sports, and a shift in TV spotlight to all of these schools on the major networks. THEN they still have to beat all of the other schools, and win a few 'chips in that time frame in order to start a trend. All of this hs to happen while also competing with the other schools that already have those systems in place.

I don't think HBCU budgets give it up like that for recruiting
That’s the elephant in the room. And it goes beyond just sports. Funding for HBCUs is an issue.

I’m sure the institutions and athletes would love to go, but I’m sure some schools may not have the $$ to recruit or have the $$ to provide top tier training. That goes for reg students too. Being pro black is cool but then student loans are real

that’s an easy question to answer even if you haven’t been there for a while :unimpressed:

I know right... nikkas act like Malcolm Farrakhan until you start talking about something that may negatively effect their favorite Pro/Collegiate team
