Listened to it a few times and I guess there are two ways to look at it:
1. Pretentious drivel from a bored occasional rapper OR
2. Some beautiful thoughtful instrumental work from a man thats in a good place mentally and vibrates on another level….i remember listening to the two pieces he dropped after his parents died and was floored by the emotion and grasp of jazz signatures.
This is terrific music that has its time and place to be enjoyed.

I don’t get the “troll” narrative at all. When has Andre 3000 EVER been a troll type of artist. This is the man who made Hey Ya a multi week number 1 smash hit and then stopped performing it because he was bored with it. Dude has always done and not done what he feels. He’s not going on an entire promotional run for this album just to troll.

As a person who actually listened to this, I added three of the songs to my study/work music playlist on Spotify. It's soothing to the ears
