I see what you're saying, however Silva's had a few fights in which he looked like he was gonna take the L before he came back and ended shyt. Sonnen looked hella superior before he got yoked up1st fight: Weidman was getting the better of Anderson and in the 2nd round, knocked him out. No fluke, although Anderson did pave the way for Weidman to get the KO.
2nd fight: One-sided domination that eventually ended with a freak accident. Only the injury was a fluke. Weidman proved in the first that he was quite clearly the better fighter.
Coleman/Shogun was completely different (other than the fact that both fights had freak injuries). From what I remember, Shogun got injured in the first minute or so of the fight. Nothing really definitive happened before the injury, the result was inconclusive. On the other hand, Weidman proved he was the superior fighter.
