The UFC offered Nick fights at 170 (Condit and Lombard), but he turned them down. He wants $ fights and has said in the past that he would like to fight Anderson.

BUT, lol no way this will happen simultaneously. Only time Diaz will have to chase Silva is first round as Silva gauges the timing. Diaz won't run from the fight.
Though I can't see how, I hope the fight goes 5 rounds.
