When he comes out to that intro tho...

"A bird with a word came to me..."
:ohlawd:

The song that made me a super fan :blessed:

After sitting with this album I actually enjoy it more than the first album. You can really feel Paaks emotions as he goes through this divorce and he's letting it all hang out. Knxwledge beats are perfect for him to hear his soul over.

I need to cop the vinyl for this asap.

The highs on this are really fukking high.

Even the intro, ThankU.

The beat and vibe is perfect, and Dave says just enough insightful shyt to make it an intro you could listen to on repeat like any of the other songs you like.

Then right into 86Sentra

:wow:

This album is great.
I had to come back to it after cleansing my palate.
I'd been listening to and writing a lot of music that was just heavy with harmony.
Constantly thinking about modal stuff and playing different pentatonic scales or different chord-scales.
So at times, I wasn't moved by the sparse production.

I came back after running some Prince and I think my appreciation for the song writing and arrangement
on this album rose sharply.

I also love .Paak's use of skits whether it's this album or the Silksonic work or the Oxnard/Venture records.

Really funny, well done and serve the overall narrative of the project.
