I remember watching either a clip or an episode that showed why Boruto hated his father because he was basically never there for him. That shyt made no damn sense to me and took out the little interest I had in this.

But still, who's the most powerful ninja in the story currently? (not talking all time)

Currently Naruto and Sasuke. Boruto is starting to learn why his father is never there and appreciate him more. That's more detrimental for finding his own path when his father is gone. The only thing I hate about this show is the ninja tech arc. It defeats the whole purpose of even being a ninja. Boruto will probably have god-like skills judging by the direction it's going in. In the manga, him and Kawaki can already absorb jutsu.

I finally caught up on the anime. This last Father and Child episode may have been the best action episodes I’ve ever seen. Seeing naruto and Sasuke go all out with Boruto was dope.
