Going back to chapter 1, maybe Boruto becomes a member of their crew as well seeing as he has a crossed out head band and black cloak.

Man this chapter was too much of a tease. AO is a surprising character to dig up and bring back into the action. Him being once loyal to the Mizukage and now being a rouge ninja is an interesting play as well.

Now that I consider it, maybe him retrieving the byakugan from a hyuga member in a war had something to do with his involvement with kara. I mean the
Ōtsutsuki do all have byakugans so maybe there's a connection there?
Konohamaru!!!
People have been saying this is a bit ahead in time from the events that transpired on the train, and the guy who confronted Konohamaru is actually Ao himself, and it would make sense since it seems the dude had a prosthetic leg himself. Some people have gone far enough to say that Konohamaru is gonna die in this confrontation. If that happens, I don't care what yall say this'll be one of the saddest deaths in all of naruto. We've known Konohamaru ever since chapter 2 of naruto, even before the rest of team seven were introduced, this'll be a really sad loss for me if he ends up dying.
I like how they referenced the anime with the field trip to the mist, that was a nice little touch
Anyways besides the Ao reveal there ain't much to discuss about, but finally shyt is picking up in the boruto manga, and in the boruto anime too in fact. This mist arc was the first interesting arc that wasn't already done in a manga (as the shin arc was done in Naruto Gaiden). Tomorrow's Boruto episode is gonna be dope with all of Shizuma's allies and Kagura taking the swords to become the new "Seven Swordsman of the Mist", I can't wait. But one thing I feel like they're gonna have to explain is Kirigakure was able to obtain all the swords. Most of them were used by the revived swordsmen so it makes sense that they got them, but some were taken by actual ninjas from different villages like the Samehada with Killer Bee and the Kiba with Omoi (which the actual former wielder gave to Omoi). What made them give the swords back? Tbh if I was Omoi I would've been like "
