The grandest irony is that Cenk is doing exactly what he criticized Kamala for, attempting to appeal to Republicans at the expense of your base of support
At least Kamala tried to appeal to sensible moderate Republicans who theoretically would vote for democracy over fascism.
Cenk instead is trying to appeal to the even more cultist, kool-aid drinking segment of the Republican Party, MAGA.
If Cenk was genuine about broadening the populist tent of the left he would be spreading the progressive message on apolitical online platforms to raise awareness to people who don’t care about voting or follow politics
We’re witnessing real time why it’s a failure of a strategy to appeal to Republicans. For every one Republican you get, you probably lose three left leaning supporters
