Time to finally play hardball and stop worrying about how conservatives feel.

She has the two things I been harping for on here since the GOP started these games. 1) expand the court by 10 or 20. If you want to depoliticized a departure or death of a justice, have it so that the numbers are inconsequential. Americans are tied to the number nine for no reason. We are not a nation of tradition, so break it. 2) “it’s important to recognize that Republicans never even try to win hearts and minds for their Supreme Court machinations. When Republicans have power, they use it, polls be damned.” Republicans don’t care about polls, they inflict power. Democrats need to do the same with the court. Its not popular, but it is right.
