If Biden wins, institute term limits for SCOTUS justices and b/c Barrett is the newest, boot her ass for a QUALIFIED justice. Then boot Kavanaugh year 3 and appoint another QUALIFIED justice

You can't just "boot out" a Supreme Court justice. Even if they propose term limits, the current proposal I've seen is 18 years. That doesn't solve the problem for this generation of laws that will be struck down by a Republican court.

The number is set by the Congress. There’s no actual reason it’s 9 instead of 8 or 5.

The same reason McConnell didn’t have to give Garland a vote.
