Fair enough. These discussions and this thread never feels that way, however.
And that's what I mean.

They SAY one thing but ultimately their goal and motives are completely different and they know that, but if they outright say that, then the more discerning viewer takes a good look at them and says hey these are nutty bike quacks who are not living in reality

It's not when your sources portray users of the other options as selfish or irresponsible
But they are when bike lanes and other sources of transport are created and they bytch and complain about how it inconveniences them. See a place like DC with limited everything but the auto drivers are up in arms about having to share the road with bike lanes.

Could be but look how your locale is designed. The only bike friendly areas in the Dallas/Ft. Worth areas are spots that are white dominated and they’ve advocated for them. Try riding a bike outside of the cities centers and you’re asking to be ran over

Gave up cars 10 years ago, currently live in a building with protected bike lanes, ferry access with a 5 minute walk, subway access with a 7 min walk, bike storage and foot spots/grocery in the the building.

This is how America needs to develop. Car centric urban planning is an L
