I understand why beyonce gets the blame but I think Amerie being too nice was her biggest problem
I dont think she understood she was in competition with beyonce back then, she took your producer to DESTROY YOU
Amerie posted a pic of her and bey on IG recently, she still doesn't get it lol
it is mediocre...but again, she has a thread discussing her music. keri does not, take your L
What Don't move goal post here, I won't let you do it. Amerie is a struggling artist at this point, while Kerri Hilson knew her time was over and moved on with her life still looking like a Dimeit is mediocre...but again, she has a thread discussing her music. keri does not, take your L

Yep.
B'Day, especially, is a straight up Ameriie knock off. A lot of them joints sound like leftovers from "Touch."
And people can say well Beyoncé had "Crazy In Love" beforehand. But Ameriie had an entire debut album out with beats that sounded just like that.
Lol @ moved on. That’s no what that empty arena she performed in a couple years back says
where's that new keri hilson music...no whereLol at least she was preforming at an arena though. She has since gave it up.
Where is the next Amerie performance? I'll tell you where, no where!
This is straight delusion. When Amerie debuted, Beyonce was not a factor as a solo artist. Ashanti was the biggest R&B artist out and J. Lo was still huge. Aaliyah joints were still big as well. Amerie was not some huge R&B sensation. She had a crazy summer record in "Why Don't We Fall in Love" and a nice Fall follow up in "Talkin Me". She performed on The Soul Train awards and took a good two year hiatus.
Meanwhile, Beyonce's team tapped Rich Harrison (who wasn't Amerie's producer by the way) to produce for Beyonce. He did like 2-3 records for her tops. Only one of those was a hit, which was her breakthrough single, "Crazy in Love", which he came up with in the 25th hour after not being able to comeup with anything. Beyonce's camp already had a relationship with Rich after he produced for Kelly Rowland (the same summer that Amerie debuted). Rich had also made a name for himself producing for Mary and others years before he produced for Amerie.
How you figure? Elaborate.Beyonce pulled a jack move on the beats and song structures just like her husband did to camp lo. I'll say it again.
