Beyoncé did the Go-Go sound with Crazy In Love so how exactly did she still Amerie’s sound? That confuses me. Both of the women are talented. shyt we need more comraderie in music. I love that they respect each other.

Amerie made great music, but she never really had the follow up singles to put her over the top. Beyonce blew up off of Rich Harrison production that was go go and people claim she stole Amerie's sound without ever acknowledging Beyonce had three successful Scott Storch produced songs that sounded nothing like Amerie to follow "Crazy In Love". Also worth mentioning is Rich also produced similar sounding songs for J. Lo and he produced Kelly Rowland's first single.

Exactly. It’s just one musical opinion that I continuously hear that doesn’t not make
any sense. If we’re being technical, Bey was really on the go-go wave with “Work It Out” (her first solo single produced by The Neptunes) and that was before “Crazy in Love”. Amerie was not making music with those elements until Touch. People are free not to like Bey (that’s their opinion), but they don’t need to be delusional.
